No charge after attempted cash machine break-in
POLICE have released a woman without charge after an attempt was made to break into a cash machine at a Romsey service station.
Officers detained the 34-year-old Southampton woman on Friday following an incident at the Esso petrol station in Greatbridge Road at 1am the same day.
It followed reports of a masked woman tampering with the cash machine at the service station. She has been bailed until March 25.
A 22-year-old Southampton man was arrested in the city on Sunday in connection with the same incident. He has also been released without charge and bailed to report back to city police officers on March 25.
