During the incident an older man is alleged to have punched a younger Newport man, 24, in the face.
The victim was left with a bloody nose.

“We need to hear from anyone who heard words exchanged between the two men or who saw an assault,” PC Spence said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Spence at Newport on 101.
The attack is alleged to have taken place between 2.50pm and 3.10pm on January 28
A 43-year-old Newport man was arrested on suspicion of assault and bailed, pending police enquiries, until February 11.
