PARISH chiefs in Wonston, near Winchester, were split over the issue of raising council tax this year.
Three councillors voted for and three against a two per cent increase in the parish precept – chairman Iain Henderson, used his casting vote in favour.
This means the parish council budget for 2013-14 will rise to £37,500.
