A TEENAGER riding a highly-distinctive bike targeted a 62-year-old woman and snatched a bag containing her asthma inhaler.
The victim was using an underpass beneath the A35 at Totton when she saw a youth approaching her on a BMX-style bicycle, which had a solid white wheel with no spokes.
He stopped and asked her the time. As she looked at her watch he grabbed the bag hanging from her shoulder and sped off.
As well as the inhaler the imitation black leather bag contained £20 in cash and a bottle of water.
The youth is described as aged 14-15 and slim. He was wearing blue jeans, white trainers and a black fleece with the hood obscuring his face.
The incident occurred last Friday just after 5pm. Anyone with information should contact PC Mark Roberts at Totton police station on 101.
