A man has been treated for minor injuries following a crash on a Hampshire motorway.

The driver of a transit van, aged in his 50s, was checked over by ambulance crews after his vehicle collided with a car on the southbound carriageway of the M271.

Police and fire crews were also called to the scene, between junction 1 and Redbridge roundabout, at 12.26pm.

Both vehicles have been moved to the hard shoulder with all lanes of the motorway open as normal.
