Pensioner taken to hospital after falling on road
A PENSIONER was taken to hospital after falling into the road today.
Police were called to reports that a woman was lying in Winchester Road, Chandler's Ford, outside Barclay's Bank.
South Central Ambulance said they attended an 84-year-old woman who had fallen outside the bank into the road and hit her head.
She was taken to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester following the incident, at around 3.30pm.
