I must say that the crossing in question, has regular occasions, where pedestrians do try their luck, by running across the road.. With a RED MAN clearly on the crossing.
I have seen many running between cars, because they are too lazy to wait till the crossing changes in their favour...
I hope that the person injured recovers... It would be a shame to lose one's life in an accident regardless...
Also hope that the driver of the vehicle, doesn't suffer from shock....
The crossing there has been a nightmare to drivers for decades. As I can remember back to the days when, before Lloyds Bank was built, and there was a parade of shops there, inc Joyners and JD law....
