EMERGENCY gas works are taking place in Winchester this weekend.
Southern Gas Networks (SGN) are carrying out repairs in City Road eastbound from Andover Road to Hyde Street.
The road was closed from 8pm last night and will remain so throughout the weekend with possible further night work next week.
A signed diversion will be in place via Andover Road, Worthy Lane and Hyde Street while traffic travelling westbound along City Road will be unaffected.
