A FURNITURE auction in aid of a Hampshire church in need of renovation raised hundreds of pounds.
More than £880 was raised after church-goer Colin Smith and his team of helpers organised the auction which saw a vast range of furniture on offer at the Catholic Church of Our Lady Start of the Sea in Fareham.
All the proceeds are going to the St Mary’s Church Renovation Fund which needs to raise £30,000.
