Daily Echo: Council grant buys all-terrain vehicle Council grant buys all-terrain vehicle

A GROUP that provides activities for people with learning disabilities is to get an all-terrain vehicle.

Thanks to £4,000 from Fareham Borough Council’s Community Fund, the Friday Night Club, a volunteer-run group based in Wallington, Fareham, will buy the secondhand MAX-CAT six-wheeled All Terrain Vehicle.

Group members range from 20 to 80 years old, but the service is also open to children and teenagers.

The vehicle will be stored and used at the Marwell Activity Centre, which is selling it at a reduced price.

The Community Fund supports one-off projects that benefit the local community or environment.
