BISHOP'S Waltham parish council will change its procedures on holding surgeries so that residents do not miss out.
Recent bad weather resulted in the last surgery being cancelled - with no automatic replacement session.
At a parish council meeting at the Jubilee Hall Councillor Barry Nicholson said: “The last surgery was cancelled due to bad weather and I hope we don't have to cancel anymore.
“In future can we have an automatic allowance for the following weekend as a matter of course, if we do have to cancel a surgery due to weather?”
The parish council were in agreement and clerk Lindsay Edge will look into the matter further.
