Former Lib Dem to stand for English Democrats at Eastleigh by-election
2:10pm Monday 18th February 2013 in News
Michael Walters
A FORMER Liberal Democrat will be representing the English Democrats at the upcoming by-election.
Michael Walters has been announced as its candidate for the contest on February 28.
A committed Anglican and Royal British Legion member, Mr Walters is the English Democrats’ current Kent county chairman.
Mr Walters is an ex-Liberal Democrat constituency party chairman and election agent, who says he left the party in 2002 after being told by his former party to remove the word ‘Christian’ from his county council leaflet.
He says he was also concerned by what he saw as its growing anti-English stance.
Alongside being a member of the Royal British Legion Riders Branch and a poppy tin distributor, he has been a Christian Aid doorstep collector for the past 20 years, a parochial church council member and a Churches Together representative.

Far right extremists.
They're in a formal alliance with the likes of Golden Dawn, they work alongside hooligan fascist groups like Casuals United, and they're largely made up of former BNP members.
As a committed Christian myself, I'm disappointed that he feels at home in that company.

Golden Dawn, Fascists, National Socialists and other such authoritarian anti-capitalist parties are left wing not right wing!
An example of an extreme right wing party is the American Tea Party, who believe in small government, capitalism and no welfare.
The English Democrats are neither, they are a middle of the road party who believe in a mixed economy and who are campaigning for an English Parliament, (since England is the only country in Europe without a national parliament) and a reform of the Barnett Formula.

I agree Golden Dawn are fascists, re-read my post and you will see that I never claimed otherwise.
Please desist from immature ad hominem attacks, it reflects badly on you.

Feel free to explain what your perception of left and right wing is as all you have done on this thread is disagree with me without providing any reasoning.
Here is an article about Fascism, as you see it's roots are firmly in the left. Fascism has a large state that micro-manages and controls everything and rejects capitalism:

The fundamental definition of left and right is having a large and small state respectively, economic policy is also an important factor, left wing ideologies control the economy with protectionist policies. Right wing economies are capitalist that encourage free trade.
I look forward to reading your next post.

They are not my definitions these are the definitions of historians and professors of political ideology. If you wish to believe the definitions on wikipedia, or the mainstream media (who are biased) then that is up to you.
Here is a quote:
“Those who control the present, control the past and those who control the past control the future.”

Please take the time and do your own research.
I would like to finish off this debate by stating that since you have not been able to prove me wrong and you have had ample opportunity, it should be assumed that the definitions I posted are correct.

Honestly honey, fascist parties do tend to be regarded as right wing, not left.
And your last statement would make George Orwell both shudder & micturate himself laughing simultaneously.
Have a word with yourself boy, you're embarrassing yourself.
