A TAXI driver was assaulted at the entrance of a Hampshire supermarket car park.
The incident happened in the car park of Asda, in Chandler’s Ford, not far from the exit off the roundabout, when a white taxi, driven by a 47-year-old man, entered the car park, passing a Ford Focus.
A can was thrown from the Ford Focus which hit the taxi.
A man from the Ford Focus then assaulted the taxi driver by pushing him when both vehicles stopped, though he was not injured.
The Ford Focus then drove off.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at 6pm on Saturday, to call PC Nicki Buckland at Eastleigh police on 101.
