JURORS trying two men accused of murdering a Hampshire man and torching his body in a car have been told they can now return majority verdicts.

Judge Mr Justice Mackay said the jury had now spent eight hours and 56 minutes deliberating but had been so far unable to return unanimous verdicts.

They have spent the past six weeks hearing evidence alleging that Afrim Lleshi and Arben Lleshi murdered Agim Hoxha before bundling his body into the back of his own Mercedes and setting it on fire in Chilworth on April 10 last year.

The 29-year-old's body was found by firefighters and police called to the scene in Chilworth Drove in the early hours of the morning.

The jury has now retired to continue considering its decisions.
