Police appeal over purse thief
AN 82-YEAR-OLD woman was the victim of a theft.
An unknown man knocked on the door of her home, in St Michael’s Road, Locks Heath.
He came into her home and took a purse containing about £100 in cash.
The suspect is described as white, aged 35 to 40, 5ft 6in to 5ft 10in, of medium build, with dark hair. He had a local accent.
Police are keen to hear from anyone in the area when the theft took place between 4pm and 7pm last Wednesday.
