ONE hundred firefighters tackled a blaze at a thatched cottage in Hampshire overnight.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service were called at 7.02pm last night to the home in Ibthorpe near Andover.
Crews from as far away as Eastleigh and Amesbury in Wiltshire were called to tackle the fire, which had been put out by 2.10am.
Much of the roof was destroyed, while the entirety of the home's first floor was damaged by smoke and water.
