A MAN suffered cuts to his face when his glasses were smashed after he was punched in a Southampton bar.

An altercation on the dance floor led to the 33- year-old man being punched in the left eye in the early hours of last Sunday.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault at Revival bar in Above Bar Street at about 1.20am.

I prefer Oxford Street - far less knuckle draggers and a much nicer ambiance!
