GUESTS came from far and wide to celebrate a decade of care at Woodlands House in the New Forest.

The Mayor of Southampton, Councillor Derek Burke and chair of the New Forest district council, Alexis McEvoy, joined friends and family of residents at the care home to celebrate its tenth birthday.

They marked the occasion by burying a time capsule filled with news publications, art work and items created by residents and pupils of nearby Netley Marsh CE Infant School, and enjoyed cream tea and entertainment from local opera singer, Leanne Cooper.
