Serious crash shuts motorway and majour route
One of the south's busiest roads has been shut due to a serious crash.
Part of the M27 and the A31 have been closed following the crash over night.
The M27 westbound has been shut from junction two to allow traffic to be diverted across the New Forest.
Details of the accident which happened on the A31 near Ringwood, have not been revealed.
Drivers have been warned to expect major delays across the route during rush hour.
On Saturday the Daily Echo revealed how calls to slash the speed limit on the A31 due to the number of serious accidents had been rejected by transport bosses.
