THESE are the first pictures of the two men accused of an armed robbery at a Basingstoke nightclub.

The robbery took place at around 1.20pm on Monday, February 25 at the Wonderland nightclub in Churchill Way.

The two men entered the nightclub and threatened a member of staff with a handgun. They tied him up, stole cash in excess of £10,000 and made off towards Church Street. The 34-year-old male member of staff was not injured.

One of the men was wearing a black padded jacket and dark-coloured trousers, possibly jogging bottoms. The other man wore grey trousers and a dark-coloured jacket.

Officers want to speak to the driver of a red car that pulled into the underground car park near the nightclub entrance at around this time. They also want to speak to two pedestrians who separately crossed Churchill Way.

Officers conducted stop-checks in Churchill Way this lunchtime in the hope of triggering the memory of motorists who may have seen the men.
