FIRE CREWS are fighting a blaze that has engulfed a Hampshire bingo hall.
Witnesses described seeing a fireball coming from the doors of the Leo Leisure Bingo Hall in Eastleigh town centre, just before 10am.
Scores of customers from neighbouring store Sainsbury's had to be evacuated and staff described how the lights suddenly went out as smoke started to fill the store.
There are currently two crews from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service on the scene and the area has been taped off, keeping back the crowds who have gathered to watch the unfolding drama.
It appears all the shops opposite the bingo hall, including Poundland and Coral, are currently without power.
