New Forest talent show hits the stage
A TALENT show is returning to the New Forest after making its highly successful debut last year.
The 2012 version of Forest’s Got Talent was won by dance troupe Dance Power, who waltzed off with the £1,000 cash prize.
This year there are even more entry slots available for competitors eager to show off their entertainment skills.
The prize is being offered by two pubs, the New Forest Inn and the Trusty Servant, who want to encourage people to come forward and perform.
Organisers are seeking entries from comedians, singers, guitarists, bands, dancing dogs, magicians, dancers and dance groups.
All entry fees and raffle sales will go to charity.
Wave 105 DJ Andy Jackson will judge each of the four heats, plus the semi-finals and finals, along with a panel of guest judges.
The first heat will be held at the New Forest Inn on March 24 – and entries are already flooding in.
