BROADCASTER Sir David Frost is selling his Hampshire home for £5.25 million after living there for 25 years.

Sir David, who has interviewed eight prime ministers and seven American presidents, and his wife Lady Carina are selling their Grade 2*-listed home in Michelmersh.

Estate agents Knight Frank have said the property, set in 21 acres of woodland three and a half miles outside Romsey, is on the market courtesy of estate agents Knight Frank.

Stephen Fry, Lord Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Baroness Margaret Thatcher are just some of the many famous people visited their home in Hampshire.

Sir David – who has presented many shows throughout his career including Through The Keyhole – and Lady Carina are moving to Hambledon in the Chilterns in Oxfordshire to be closer to family.

The television personality became a household name on both sides of the Atlantic when he interviewed shamed US president Richard Nixon who admitted there was a cover up over the Watergate scandal.

The series of interviews was dramatised into a play and then a film called Frost/Nixon.
