Queen admitted to hospital
The QUEEN has been admitted to hospital with symptoms of gastroenteritis, Buckingham Palace has confirmed.
She had been due to visit Rome for two days this week, but the trip has been cancelled.
A Palace spokesman said: “The Queen is being assessed at the King Edward VII’s Hospital, London, after experiencing symptoms of gastroenteritis.
“As a precaution, all official engagements for this week will regrettably be either postponed or cancelled.”
The Queen’s sickness was first announced on Friday, and she spent yesterday resting at Windsor.
She was due to attend a military celebration in Wales during the country’s St David’s Day celebrations, but was forced to cancel the plans.
The Queen, who is 86, has undertaken a number of engagements during the last week.
On Tuesday she met the Archbishop of Canterbury at Buckingham Palace, and on Thursday she presented a host of Olympic stars with honours during an investiture ceremony.

I hope she feels better soon, as I would *anyone* who falls ill.

Old lady. Poorly. Very sad. But even more sad are all the poorly old ladies on the wards at the General, especially those without family or friends to comfort them, or the wealth to provide them with more comfortable surroundings and one-on-one treatment.

That's a major flaw in the saying "Great" Britain.

So no, not if he genuinely holds that opinion. There are legitimate reasons for wishing the end of the Austrian Windsors. I don't share them, and would prefer to see something more moderate, but the PoV is valid.
Insulting you, ad hominem stuff, that would be disrespectful to you. That's not what kingnotail posted though.
If anything, your paternalistic response was far more disrespectful, as was your call for him/her to emigrate. Not to mention the sarcasm of your latest comment.
Perhaps treating others with respect is something that you only apply to those who agree with you?
