A MAN was robbed at knifepoint while he walked home after a night out in Hampshire.

The 23-year-old victim was walking between Southern Gardens and Broadmeadow Close on Ringwood Road in Totton when three people got out of a dark-coloured Vauxhall Astra hatchback and held him up.

After threatening him with the knife they searched him and stole his wallet at 10pm on Friday.

All three are about 20- years-old, of skinny build and about 5ft 7in.

One was clean shaven and wearing a grey hoodie, another wore a grey hoodie and beanie hat and the third wore a dark V-neck jumper and light tracksuit bottoms.

A fourth man drove off in the Astra down Calmore Road once the three men had got back in the car.

Any witnesses or anyone with information about the incident should call Detective Constable Giulio Pizzo at Lyndhurst Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
