Judge gives teen one last chance
A JUDGE warned a teenager: “If you carry on like this, you will end up in prison.”
Judge Andrew Barnett handed Ruby Ventham, of no fixed address, “one final chance” with a nine-month community order and supervision.
The jobless 19-year-old had been committed for sentence at Winchester Crown Court by magistrates for stealing a driving licence which she claimed to have found in the street.
She was also in breach of a previous community order, imposed by Southampton Crown Court for burglary, by failing to attend two probation service appointments.
