Three people have been charged following police raids in Hampshire .

Six warrants were carried out in Portsmouth in response to intelligence concerning the supply of illegal drugs and serious acquisitive crime.

John Vella, 49-years-old, from Foster Road in Portsmouth has been charged with three offences of supplying a Class A drug.

David Scouarnec, 30-years-old, from Seymour Close in Portsmouth has been charged with theft and three offences of receiving stolen goods.

Neil McAvery, 38, from Waverley Road in Southsea has been charged with burglary dwelling, theft, two offences of receiving stolen goods, supply of a Class A drug and being concerned in the production of a Class B drug.

They were due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court today.

A 39-year-old man from Portsmouth was arrested on suspicion of supply of a Class A drug, handling stolen goods, theft and selling an imitation firearm.

He has been bailed pending further enquiries until April 4.

Two men aged 33 and 48, both from Portsmouth, were arrested on suspicion of burglary dwelling and handling stolen goods. They have been released with no further action.
