BUDDING young performers from across Hampshire have taken to the stage at Southampton Guildhall as they bid to win a prestigious annual competition.
College students and senior school pupils have been busting their moves as they battle it out in this year’s Global Rock Challenge.
Dance troupes have been performing a host of spectacular tenminute dance routines in a bid to reach the southern area final in June.
Among the colourful dancers who have taken part in their dozens this week are students from Richard Taunton Sixth Form College, Henry Cort Community College, Upper Shirley High School and Swanmore College of Technology.
Great Oaks School and Regents Park Community College are set to rock the Guildhall tonight before Hampshire’s junior and primary schools take centre stage tomorrow and Saturday.
