Winchester residents' group planning to boost membership

WINCHESTER City Residents Association (WCRA) will continue, members have decided at its annual meeting.
Membership of the association, which has been representing residents’ views for 40 years, has been declining over the past few years and there was a danger it could fold.
But members emphatically voiced their support for current chairman John Thomas and his committee and said it should find ways of engaging new members.
Mr Thomas appealed for anyone interested to join the association by visiting winchester-residents.org.uk.
Annual membership costs £6.
