Dog themed fun day in aid of children's hospice
ALL things canine will be on offer at a charity fun day.
The annual Bark in the Park event, in aid of the Naomi House children’s hospice, will see walkers taking part in a 2km dog walk alongside other activities at the Manor Farm Country Park, in Botley, tomorrow.
The dog-themed family fun day will also feature a dog agility show and the chance to enter your dog in a novelty dog show with categories including the prettiest pooch, waggiest tail and scruffiest dog.
There are around 20 stalls selling dog-related goodies, including toys and DNA dog testing.
The day runs from 10am to 2pm and people can complete the walk at any time.
Last year’s event, held at the Royal Victoria Country Park, saw hundreds of four-legged friends and their owners turn out to raise around £2,500.
Registration begins at 10am and costs £5 per dog, with further dogs £2.50.
