Ex-Pompey star and Sky pundit banned from the road
FORMER Pompey footballer Paul Walsh has been fined £1,600 and banned from the roads for six months.
Walsh, 50, now a Sky Sports pundit, was caught by police in Bridge Road, Park Gate, on December 14 in his Fiat 500 Lounge.
A blood test found he had 106 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, the limit being 80.
Walsh, of Sarisbury Green, pleaded guilty to being in charge of a motor vehicle while being over the drinkdriving alcohol limit.
Southampton magistrates also ordered him to pay a £120 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

The former charge carries a means-tested charge, up to 10 points, but not usually any sort of ban at all.
