A DISABLED man confronted two men in his Southampton home when he found they were in his daughter's bedroom.

The 53-year-old amputee was sitting in his lounge in Lordshill when he heard a knock at his front door.

He went to answer it but found two men in his daughter's bedroom on his way to the door.

They made their escape back out of the front door once they saw the victim but still managed to steal some Tramadol pain relief medication.

The incident happened at 7.45pm on Thursday February 28 but police have just released details.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have information about the burglary to contact Detective Constable John Goulbourne at Shirley CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
