A WINCHESTER Prison inmate will spend more time inside after being convicted of breaking a restraining order.

Kerry Waldron, 48, contacted Theresa Ramsey by telephone and letter in breach of an order made by Aldershot magistrates.

Magistrates in Basingstoke added 18 weeks to his sentence, saying the offences were serious and were a repeated and persistent breach of the order.

Waldron was serving a sentence for similar offences and the offending between December 17 and February 18 started soon after he was jailed.
