Winchester pub goes green for world record attempt
6:50pm Monday 11th March 2013 in News
Scores of people will flock to a Winchester pub at the weekend in a bid to break a world record.
Punters will descend on O’Neill’s Irish Bar in the High Street on St Patrick’s Day, as they bid to set a new Guinness World Record for the most people Irish dancing at the same time.
The St Patrick’s Day party, which takes place on Sunday, will get started from 7pm, with the world record attempt getting under way at 8pm.
O’Neill’s watering holes from across the country will take part in the event, with the Winchester venue raising money for Naomi House children’s hospice.
