POLICE are continuing their hunt for a Volvo XC90 involved in the Jade Clark fatal hit-and-run crash.

Following an emotional event in memory of the 16-year-old Ringwood youngster at the weekend, officers continue to seek the driver of the light-coloured Volvo XC90 who left the scene before police arrived on Sunday, February 24.

Jade’s family and friends gathered at Carvers Recreation Ground at Ringwood on Saturday to release balloons in her memory.

A £5,000 reward has been offered by Crimestoppers and Ringwood-based company Churchill Retirement Living for information leading to an arrest and charge. The search for the car, probably with front-end damage, is a joint operation by Dorset Police’s major crime investigation team and traffic department.

Officers are visiting all registered keepers of Volvo XC90s, with more than 300 vehicles eliminated over six counties.

Anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
