MORE than 100 people attended an event that aimed to encourage wood fuel production in the New Forest National Park.
Foresters, businesses and people with an interest in biomass boilers were among those who went to a conference staged by the New Forest Land Advice Service.
Georgie Watson, who organised the event, said: “Developing a productive wood fuel market in the New Forest is a practical option as managed woods will be able to provide a sustainable and carbon neutral energy source.”
