Several cars vandalised overnight

A NUMBER of vehicles have been damaged overnight on the same road.

Police received reports of damage in Church Road, Bishopstoke, which happened between Saturday night and Sunday morning, and believe the incidents are linked.

Vandals smashed the front windscreen of a Subaru Impreza parked on the road, between midnight and 8am on Sunday. A 33-year-old’s Mercedes car had its rear windscreen smashed, a 24-year-old man’s BMW 3 convertible had a cracked front windscreen and dents and damage to the paintwork, a 23-year-old man’s Ford Transit van had smashed windows, all on Saturday night, and a 59-year-old man reported damage to the wing mirror of his Ford Mondeo, sometime between Friday and Sunday.

A passer-by also reported that someone had broken a side window on a Ford drop-side lorry. Anyone who witnessed what happened or has information is asked to call Eastleigh Safer Neighbourhoods Team on 101.
