Blackburn 'Old Girls' enjoy school reunion

Blakey Moor Old Girls Association held their 31st get-together at Mytton Fold Golf and Country Club.

The school’s history dates back to before the Second World War when it was a mixed school housed where the Blackburn Technical Grammar School was.

During the war the girls were moved to the big house in Meins Road, Billinge while the boys stayed in the town centre.
