Have your say on the future of city services
SOUTHAMPTON residents are being urged to have a say on the future of the city’s community health services.
Solent NHS Trust is inviting people to become members as it strives to become a Foundation Trust later this year.
For this to happen, health bosses need to recruit 10,500 members from within the community, who will get the chance to ensure services are being run correctly and in the interests of patients.
Members will be encouraged to influence decisions about the trust’s future by attending local events such as public board meetings and health talks on common issues.
There is no need to commit to attending events or meetings but the trust will ensure all members are kept informed.
By becoming a member, you will also benefit from exclusive discounts through the NHS Discounts scheme.
