POLICE are hunting two robbers who threatened to stab a Hampshire schoolboy.

The 13-year-old boy was walking with his 12-year-old friend along Shirley Road, in Southampton, when two youths threatened to stab him if he didn't hand over his black iPhone 4.

The boy handed over his phone and the pair ran off along the road and down an alleyway, which leads to Mandela Way.

Officers are appealing for witnesses who saw the robbery, which happened at around 4.20pm, on March 9, between Emon's and the New Gourmet takeaway.

Anyone with information should call Shirley CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
