Alresford reports growing hardship problem

ALRESFORD civic chiefs are seeing an increasing number of hardship cases, the town council heard.

The recession and forthcoming welfare changes are expected to worsen the problem said Councillor Margot Power.

Winchester Basics Bank is talking to churches in the town to ensure their food can be accessed by Alresford residents.
