MORE than 1,200 chocolate eggs have been distributed to local children, young people and vulnerable adults in the community.
Eggs were donated from across the community by individuals, churches including Andover Baptist Church and local WI groups such as Longstock, Leckford, Abbotts Ann and Upper Clatford.
St John the Baptist Primary School collected eggs and members of the Community Club at Farleigh School encouraged other pupils to donate over 500 eggs which they then delivered to Andover Mencap.
Among the organisations working across the Test Valley who received eggs were Homestart, The Adult and Family Learning Centre and MIND.
The Andover Foodbank wishes to thank all those who made this year such a success and allowed us all to show that we care about those in need within our community at Easter.
