Flytipping fine Flytipping fine

THE director of a Hampshire mobile catering firm has admitted flytipping.

Nunzio Maresca, who runs NM Catering, pleaded guilty to dumping black bags full of rubbish at Fanshawe Street, in Southampton, on three separate occasions last year.

Cardboard packaging, ice cream tubs and a garden chair were among the items left on the road on August 17, August 25 and September 9, 2012.

Maresca, 49, told Southampton Magistrates’ Court he was “sorry”.

Maresca, of Trafford Road, Fair Oak, was fined £450 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15, plus £668 in costs.
