THIRTY-FOUR hardy volunteers turned out to help clean up Romsey’s waterways and riverbanks.
MP Caroline Nokes and Mayor Mark Cooper joined residents of Middlebridge Street, Test Valley Borough Council staff and members of the Rotary Club of Test, Romsey Sub Aqua Club, and Romsey and District Society.
In addition to litter picking, they tackled the Saxon ditch on the corner of the Braishfield Road, and made a huge effort to strip away the brambles at Barge Canal.
