A WEDDING certificate was amongst the items stolen by thieves during a house burglary in Old Basing.
The burglary took place at a house in Pyotts Hill, between 10pm on Wednesday, March 27 and 5.50am the following day.
Thieves stole a safe and the items it contained, including cash, several watches, a gold chain, bracelet and earrings, the certificate and other family papers.
PC Mark Pullman appealed for anybody who saw anything suspicious, or anyone who has been offered items of jewellery for sale in suspicious circumstances, to come forward.
