Waltham Chase sorting office forced to relocate

First published in News

THE Royal Mail sorting office at Waltham Chase has been forced to move after the roof began to leak.

The operation on Winchester Road has relocated to the Hedge End delivery office today (April 16), but a spokesman for the Royal Mail said the move would be short-lived.

“It's just a temporary measure. The roof has been leaking over the last couple of days so they've moved to Hedge End. We don't have a date yet, but it will move back as soon as possible,” he said.

The Post Office itself will continue to function as normal.
