A HAMPSHIRE MP is pushing for a £25m investment into a Stubbington bypass.
Caroline Dinenage, MP for Gosport, believes that the road is needed to solve traffic problems in Gosport and Fareham and hopes to convince those at Hampshire County Council and in the Government of the plan’s urgency.
Although she has been told that plans for the road have been put back to 2026, when there may be more f u n d i n g available, Ms Dinenage, pictured, hopes to persuade the county council to look into funding bids and put aside the necessary funds.
She will be discussing it with the county’s executive member for transport, Cllr Mel Kendal.
