MOPEDS and motorcycles will be targeted today as part of a crackdown on motorcycle mayhem blighting the city’s roads and nature spots.
Officers from the Sholing and Weston Safer Neighbourhood Team and the roads policing unit will be out stopping riders to inspect bikes. Any suspected of being derestricted or committing any other offence could lead to the bike being seized. This follows reports of motorcycle nuisance around the Southampton neighbourhoods, especially in the Sholing Valley and Millers Pond nature reserve.
