Woman, 72, charged with attempted murder after pensioner found by road
A WOMAN has been charged with attempted murder after a man was found injured at the side of a Hampshire road.
The 73-year-old man was found lying on a grass verge in West Common, Langley, by members of the public around 12.45pm on Saturday.
He had suffered significant head injuries and was taken by ambulance to Southampton General Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
Detectives believe he had been knocked over by a car.
Sally Stickland, 72, of West Common, Langley, is due to appear before Southampton Magistrates’ Court today.
