A TEENAGER had to be rescued after getting stuck in mud at a Hampshire wood.
The alarm was raised at 10.42am today after the 16-year-old boy became stuck after walking from one of the paths through Hincheslea Wood.
Fire crews from New Milton and Brockenhurst were deployed to help free the teenager by digging him out.
According to fire fighters one of the boy’s legs was stuck in some boggy mud which they managed to free by digging around it.
No injuries were suffered as a result of the incident.
